Whether it’s a family member, a love interest or even a friend, if they don’t come with love, don’t give them access to your inner kingdom.
This takes active discernment because sometimes, we forget that not everyone comes in love. Especially if that’s how we, ourselves, usually show up.
It’s natural to assume family and friends bring love when they come calling. Unfortunately, that’s not always true.
The truth is that not everyone wishes us well and it has nothing to do with us. As my spirit guides once told me in a very direct communication: Not your monkeys, not your circus.
Don’t know about you, but in those cases my first instinct is to do a deep dive into their psychology, seeking reasons and rationales. I might even be right most of the time.
But a long time ago, Werner Ehrhardt said something that’s stuck with me all these years: Understanding is the booby prize.
It’s really true. Understanding is a great intellectual exercise but it changes nothing. Change only happens when we choose to react differently to those who do not come in love. The change must be done by us. Ourselves.
We can’t make someone come in love. Either they do or they do not.
By all means, live with an open heart. Just keep that inner kingdom for those who deserve it.
I love when the Universe puts a message in front of you at just the right time. Hope this one does that for you.
Very true words.
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God : because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 (KJB)
