There have been more than a few times in my life when I made big, glaring mistakes. I mean, life-direction-changing mistakes. Some made my life significantly harder. None were fatal.
More than a decade ago, I was intent on doing something would have really, REALLY made my life difficult. My angels stepped in and stopped me by making something so big and unexpected happen that I had to change direction. And it was so huge that them barging in the way they did just had to be Divine Intervention. No doubt in my mind.
Not too long ago I was about to step in it again. But before I could….yes. Divine Intervention.
I was thinking about this in my car a few months ago and I heard my angels say very clearly and distinctly: “Get a grip, Carol! We’re not fuc king aroundl!!”
The message was so loud and obvious that all I could do was laugh. Because, they are, after all, correct and they certainly do mean business!
Have you ever felt Divine Intervention at work in your life? I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
I was driving down a state highway one twilight evening. Suddenly from the right I saw a large deer coming right at me from the right side, I cringed and prepared for impact – only to feel NOTHING! I peered in my rear view mirror and saw no deer behind me or anywhere. It was such a feeling of – what just happened? I felt an intervention at that moment.
Now that is miraculous. And thankfully so.
Ohmyword, yes! The number of times I’ve had the distinct ‘impression’ to do or not to do! Interestingly, one of those impressions I obeyed was to follow and befriend you! 🙂
Oh my gosh! Now i have to know more!
Yes, several times. From the “don’t get on this elevator” feeling I got (and listened to) maybe a minute before we were plunged into a 12 hour plus blackout, to the time I was exiting a building and there were two men standing outside – we made eye contact – something just so evil and creepy seemed to be emanating from one of them that I went back into the building and waited until they had moved on. Several weeks later two men were arrested for murder and…yes, it was the same men. Shudder. No outright verbal messages, though. Ever. (Nowadays if I am delayed by something I try not to fuss; I assume it may have been for a reason.)
Holy moley. You are connected, girl, and good thing!
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God : because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1
Hi Sue. I should make clear that I do not follow the literal Bible nor do I claim Christianity. What I do claim is a close relationship with the higher power that follows no denomination. I am pretty clear that what I hear is no false prophets. However I know many Christian preachers who ARE false prophets.
Dear Carol, yep, you are quite right on that one. Many of us were raised to believe that church is narc-free. Not so, sad to say. There’s people there who “wrest the Scriptures” bigtime. So much in the Bible about fakes – they’re smart, just like their handler.
It really frustrates me that they can’t see how un-Christlike they are.
Oh yes! When I’m driving, when I’m praying. Usually, they are telling me to get a grip, I’m on the right path. The wrong-path messages come out less clear, but with obvious obstacles thrown in my way.
Yes exactly! Whew, glad yours tell you to get a grip, too!
