What I love most about girls today is that they’re not holding out for a hero. Because they know that no one can save them except themselves.
Do you remember that old Bonnie Tyler song?
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ’til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ’til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta be larger than life!
Young women today get that they an be their own hero–that THEY are larger than life.
So if you’re holding out for a hero, why not think about ways you can be your OWN hero?
And just maybe, in another life, you WERE a hero. If you’d like to find out, schedule a free, 15 minute call to talk about past life regression at this link–top half of the page.
Yes. Yes. YES!!!!
Just like men, women have been heroes since the beginning of time. I love that young women are owning their strength and power. They’ll change the world.
Woman as a hero? Great concept. I saw it in my two sisters 30 and 40 years ago. (and still see it today). So it’s nothing new. But I think it is more prevalent, and that a good thing. Heroic women are good for men too.
